Home care for elderly people is one of the areas that is developing the fastest in health and social care environment. The aging population and rising costs of services is requiring new innovations in service provisioning models and structures.
Together with City of Tampere (around 230 000 inhabitants) Mawell Care has developed the new way of organising home care for elderly people.
The Home Care service center offers centralized services for the following purposes:
- customer service and guidance
- care need assesment and care planning
- organising public and private services
- managing the home care supplier network
- developing the service processes and service provider networks
- creating a market place for home care services
The target of the home care service center is to:
- enable elderly people to live longer at home
- improve the customer services, easy access, one point of contact
- improve the home care affectness and process efficiency
- develop the service provider market
The Home Care Service center is operated by Mawell Care personnel, supported by Mawell's techonology components. The home care services are provided by public and private home care service provider network.
